We allocate your seating

This year, we've taken the hassle out of choosing seats by managing the seating allocation for you. Our experienced team, who have been seating guests on THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride since 2019, will carefully arrange bookings to keep families and groups together wherever possible. Most importantly, children will never be seated on their own. Take a look below to learn more about how our seating process works.

What is the seating layout?

Each of our carriages can accommodate up to 64 passengers or 42 passengers. Seating is arranged at tables of four, with 16 tables per carriage - eight on each side of the aisle. The 42 seater carriage has a table of 4 one side and 2 seats on the other.

We always aim to seat your booking together or as close together as possible.

How seating works by group size:

  • Booking for 2 people
    You will be seated side by side and may share a table with another pair.

  • Booking for 3 people
    You will be seated together at a table and may share with one other guest.

  • Booking for 4 people
    You will be seated together at your own table.

  • Booking for 5 people
    Four guests will be seated together at one table, with the fifth seated at the table directly across the aisle. They will be positioned closest to the rest of your group.

  • Booking for 6 people
    Four guests will be seated together at one table, with two seated at the table directly opposite, sharing with another group if necessary.

  • Booking for 7 or more people
    You will be seated as close together as possible, typically at tables opposite each other.
